Alden L. Plumley

Alden Luther Plumley, 82, of Midkiff, WV died Saturday December 20, 2014. He was born March 2, 1932 at Price, WV, a son of the late Mark and Vernie Plumley. He was also preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Hager Plumley. He was a truck driver for the dept. of highways, a farmer, and a sawmill operator.

He is survived by his children and their spouses, Deloris (Ronnie) McComas, Michael (Marlena) Plumley, Louise (Ray) Doss, Kathy (Mike) Bragg, Montery (Dow) Adkins, Jewell (Danny) Frye, Robin (Eugene) Arnold; 14 grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 4 step great-grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 11:00am Wednesday December 24, 2014 at McGhee-Handley Funeral Home, West Hamlin, WV with Paul Stevens and Wetzel Faulks officiating. The burial will follow in the Lovejoy Cemetery, Palermo, WV.

A viewing will be Tuesday from 6pm to 8pm at the funeral home.
