Andrew Donald Charcandy

Andrew Donald Charcandy, 86, of Madison, WV passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2024. 

He was born February 24, 1938 in Clarksburg, WV.  He was preceded in death by his son, Terry Charcandy; his father, Andrew Arthur Charcandy and his mother, Margarette Hildereth; his siblings, Ruby Gaias, Phyllis Michaels, Gloria “Kitten” White Burger, Janet McCormick, Effie Spencer, Virginia Thompson, Betty Ball, Dottie McVey, Buck Charcandy, and Jack Charcandy.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy Arlene Birley Charcandy; his son, Larry Charcandy of Madison, WV; his daughter, Sherri Cross of Hurricane, WV; brother Robin Charcandy of Madison, WV; sisters, Judy Norvell of Napier, WV and Angie Charcandy of Foster, WV; grandchildren, Amber Lambert, Maddox Charcandy, and Drew Charcandy; great-grandchildren, Andrew Robert Charcandy, and Landon Akers.

He was a construction worker for Bunch Construction and worked for Hobet Mining as a Crane Operator.  He was a member of Madison Baptist Church, Madison, WV.

Service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, March 30, at Madison Baptist Church, Madison, WV with Pastor Jim Butcher officiating.  Burial will follow in Boone Memorial Park, Madison, WV.

Visitation will be from Noon until service time at the church.
