Anita Charleen Kirk

Anita Charleen Kirk went home to be with the Lord January 23, 2024 after a long illness.         

Anita was a member of Mahone Chapel, Ashford, WV, she enjoyed the company of her family and friends, and was a wonderful mother and wife.

She is survived by her son, Dean (Beth) Kirk of Drawdy; daughter, Deanna Holstein of Ashford; brothers, John (Rose) Garretson of Drawdy and James Garretson of Drawdy; seven grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 26, 2024, Handley Funeral Home, Danville, WV with David Kinder officiating.   Friends may call one hour prior to the service.

Entombment will be at a later date at Kanawha Valley Memory Gardens, Glasgow, WV with her husband Phillip Kirk with no graveside services to be conducted.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask that memorial donations be made to either Mahone Chapel or First Baptist Church of Racine.
