Anita Pearl Marcum

Anita Pearl Crone Marcum, 62, of Ottawa, WV, unexpectedly gained her heavenly wings on November 9, 2024.

Born on June 23, 1962, Anita dedicated her life to taking care of her family and friends. She was loved by everyone she met, she never met a stranger, and she tried to help everyone around her. She was also a member of Spruce Laurel Freewill Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her father Earl Crone Sr; mother-in-law Audrey Marcum; grandparents James (Ester) White and Walter (Clara) Crone; and several brothers and sisters-in-law.

Anita is survived by her husband Leon Marcum of Ottawa, WV; mother Shirley Crone of Ottawa, WV; brother Earl (Becky) Crone Jr. of Low Gap; daughters Christina (Carl Harmon) Fisher of Erwin, TN, Candy Jones of Ottawa, WV; son Tyler (Kaitlyn) Wooten; grandchildren Katilyn (David) Horn of Ottawa, WV, Leon (Savannah) Fisher of Julian, WV, Natalie Jones of Ottawa, WV, Lacey (Mark) Font and Lilly (Randall) Nichols of SC, Kahlan Loftis of Madison, WV; and great-grandchildren Kaydence Fisher of Julian, WV, Addilyn Wooten of NC, and Liam Wooten of Logan, WV. She is also survived by a host of friends, family, and loved ones.

Services will begin at 2:00pm on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at Handley Funeral Home in Danville, WV. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial to follow in Greenview, WV.
