Ann O'Dell Carrico

Ann O'Dell Carrico, 81, of Danville, passed on December 31, 2021, after a long illness.
Ann was preceded in death by her husband Richard (Boney) Carrico; parents Walter and Marie Staten O'Dell; brothers Michael and Patrick O'Dell; and sister, Teresa Combs.
Ann loved spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed gardening and interior design. Ann was also known for taking in strays, either two legged or four legged, she opened her home and welcomed all.
Ann is survived by her daughter, Denise Kennedy, Madison, WV; sons, Kevin (Ellen) Spradling, Myrtle Beach, SC and Tony Carrico, Danville, WV; grandchildren, Jessica (Chris) Hazard, Richmond, VA and Andrew Spradling, Mount Hope, WV; and two great grandchildren.
The family would like to thank CAMC Memorial, Hillcrest Health Care Center, and Boone Memorial Hospital for their kind and compassionate care; plus, Handley Funeral Home.
Ann graciously donated her body for medical research. Per her wishes, there will be no services.
