Anna Lea Smith

Anna Lea Smith, 93, of Spurlockville, WV passed away August 9, 2024.

She was a homemaker and a member of Maple Hill Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Oral and Dona Stone Clark; her husband, Don Smith; siblings, Harold, Jean, Ralph, Tommy, Ronnie, JoAnn, and Infant Clark.

Surviving are children, Danny Smith (Rita) of Naples, Florida, Doug W. Smith (Anita) of Morrisvale, WV, Peggy S. Elder (Jerry) of Wooster, Ohio, and Diania Perdue (Claude) of Spurlockville, WV; grandchildren, April, J.D. Elder, Chad Smith, Jeff Smith, and Christy Ham; great grandchildren, Carleigha, Leighton, Landon, Cambria, Marcy, Bella, Ethan, Kenzie, Jack, Chris, Justin, Owen, Ella and Brandon; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 12, 2024 at Handley Funeral Home in Danville, WV with Jimmy Lawrence officiating. Burial will follow in Clark Cemetery, Alkol, WV.
