Anna Lou Miller

January 14, 1930 — August 2, 2019

Anna Lou Miller, 89, of Danville WV gained her angel wings August 2, 2019 at her residence surrounded by her family.

She was born on January 14, 1930 to the late Don and Pearl Stowers of Lincoln County, WV.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. Her entire life was devoted to her family.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her four brothers and three sisters, Billy, Dana, Luster, Kodie, Reba, Nova, and Earnie; a loving husband of 56 years, Maxwell Lee Miller; and two sons and one daughter, Butchie, Terry, and Judy.

She is survived by her two brothers, Darrell (Margaret), and Richard. Also her surviving children include: Wanda (Leo) Paynter, Diana Miller, Chuckie (Charlotte) Miller, and Dreama (Cledith) White; grandkids, Timothy (Becky) Lafferty, Estel Lafferty Jr., David Lafferty, Scottie (Kelli) Paynter, Peggy (Sam) Adkins, Marsha (Michael) Caudill, Jeremy Miller, Ashley (Gary) Hayes, and Alicia (John) Cyrus, and Kimberly Robinson; great-grandkids, Mason, Emma, Kayla, Brittany, Breanna, Bradley, Brandon, Alex, Luke, Emilee, Alexis, Moses, Nate, and Addison; great-great-grandkids, Bryce and Avery; and a host of nieces and nephews.

We want to thank Kanawha County Hospice, especially Libby, Melanie, Jodi, and Pete for their love, care, and support.

Service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 6 at Handley Funeral Home in Danville with Billy Nelson and David May officiating. Burial will follow in Orchard Hills Cemetery, Yawkey.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
