Annis Mae Daniels, 79, of Bob White, West Virginia passed away Friday, January 13, 2023.
Annis was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her role as a grandmother. She had a vivacious personality and always made people laugh. She had a passion for gardening and flowers. She also enjoyed fishing and traveling, but most of all being with people she loved.
She was preceded in death by her mother Eunice Vanhoose Colvin; her father Eddie Castle; step-father John Colvin; her sisters Janet Bailey, Loretta Rifee, and Phyllis Kimbler; brother Johnny James Colvin; daughters Susan Daniels and Carol Hughart; sons Charles Jr. Brown and David Brown; grandson Stoney David Brown; and great-grandsons Timothy Edward Hager and Timothy Earl Hager.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Lisa (Larry) Berry of Danville, WV, Jane Estep of WV, and Suzanne (Jonathan) Wilson of Galion, OH; her son, William (Lynn) Brown Danville, WV; her grandchildren, Jonathan (Dorothy) Hager of Clothier, WV, Basil Jr. (Belva) Dotson of Madison, WV, Amy (Adam) Lovejoy of Clothier, WV, Edward Burgess of Ottawa, WV, Billy Brown of Ottawa, WV, Aaron Estep of NC, and Cody Estep of NC; a host of great-great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Service will be 2 p.m. Monday, January 16 at Handley Funeral Home in Danville, WV with Chuck Gillispie officiating. Burial will follow in Family Gardens on Low Gap Road, Madison, WV.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
