Anthony Raymond Kosela, 39, of Danville, WV passed away Sunday, April 5, 2020.
Anthony was born in Sewickley, PA on January 26, 1981. He graduated from Scott High School in 1999. Anthony was a construction worker for Leary Repair, Remodeling, and Construction. He was also a former coal miner. Anthony enjoyed being a member of “Go To Any Lengths Group” of NA where he celebrated two years of sobriety this March. He was a member of Liberty Gospel Tabernacle, Cleveland, TN. He was also an Eagle Scout with Boy Scouts of America.
Anthony leaves behind his wife, Jessica Kosela; sons, Bailey Kosela age 18, Brantley Kosela age 7, Remington Kosela age 2, and Judah Kosela expected to be born in October; daughters, Olivia Kosela age 16, and Alexis Ferguson age 13. He is also survived by his sister and adoptive parents, Patricia and Tim Leary of Madison, WV; brothers, Eric (Donna) and William Leary of Madison, WV; step children, Lydia age 6 and Jasper age 2; nephew, Caleb Leary; uncle, James Leary; aunt Marilyn (Richard) Davis.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Kosela and Grace Dzikowski-Kosela; brothers, Stanley McDowell and Ray Kosela; grandparents Olga Dzikowski, and Francis and Norma Leary.
A private graveside service will be held for immediate family 11 a.m. Friday, April 10, 2020 at the Caldwell Family Cemetery, Madison.
A celebration of life will be held for family and friends at a later date.
