Ardala Miller

Ardala Miller, age 80, of Madison, departed this life Tuesday, May 22, 2018, surrounded by her loving family, at the Charleston Area Medical Center, Memorial Hospital after a short illness. She was born March 7, 1938, in Bald Knob, WV, to her much-loved parents, William H. “Pete” Price and Myrtle (Peters) Price.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Delvin Miller, a brother Chester M. Price, and sisters Beulah Cook and Monzella Thomas
She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend. Her greatest accomplishment was her family that survives her, a son, Rodney Miller and wife Cozetta, her much cherished grandchildren, her granddaughter Jennifer and grandson Michael all of Madison. She is also survived by a brother William H. Price, Jr (Sarah) and sister Irene Cutlip (Randy) of Ohio, two special nieces Gale Gibson of Bald Knob and Pam Hartman of Madison, as well as several other nieces and nephews with many, many friends.
Ardala attended Madison Baptist Church and enjoyed her time there with some very good friends. She was a member of the Boone Memorial Hospital Auxiliary where she made many friends and volunteered many hours serving, recently receiving an award recognizing her over 1,500 hours of service. She was a member of the VFW Post 5578 Auxiliary.
Service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, May 24, at Madison Baptist Church, Madison, WV, with Pastor Jim Butcher officiating. Burial will follow at the Memory Gardens Cemetery, Madison. Visitation for friends and family is one hour prior to the service.
