Arthur Lloyd Nay, 72, of Quinland went to meet the Lord on Thursday, October 3, 2013.
He was a retired coal miner of Long Branch Energy, an Army veteran and a member of the Church of God in Name of Christ Jesus.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Mamie Nay of Robinson; siblings, Dolly Kuhn, Genivie Taylor, Betty Miller, Tom Nay, Mary Ellen Brown and Edna Macatee.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Barbara Nay of Quinland; son, Arthur Lloyd Nay, II and his wife, Melissa of New Philadelphia, OH; grandson, Jonathan Christopher Nay and his wife, Kayla of Quinland; brother, James Nay of New York; and several family and friends.
Service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, October 5, 2013 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville with the Rev. Johnny Meade officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens, Low Gap with military graveside rites performed by Daniel Boone Post 5578 Madison, West Virginia.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
