Aubrey Gene Horn, 51, of Branchland, WV and formerly of Linden, TX passed away at his home on Saturday June 17, 2017. He is the son of Sammie Horn of Spring Hope, NC and the late Benny Gene Horn of Many, LA.
He is survived by his wife, Katherine Horn of Branchland, sons Robert (Amber) McDonald of Lucasville, OH, and David Horn of Branchland; one grandson Robert Xavier Scott McDonald; one special grand-niece Betty Clare Brooks; and niece Katrina (Pee Wee) McDonald. He is also survived by his mother Sammie “Sue” Horn; sister Rachel Horn; and brother Ronald Horn all from Spring Hope, NC; and another brother Michael (Holly) Horn of Linden, TX and their sons Travis and Colby.
He will be dearly missed and remembered by a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and lots of friends.
Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Wednesday, June 21 at McGhee-Handley Funeral Home, West Hamlin, WV. The burial will follow in the McDonald Family Cemetery, Branchland.
A visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral.
The family would like to give special thanks to family and friends that helped ready his resting place.
