Barbara Lou Barker, 81, of Ashford WV passed away April 25, 2020. She was born Barbara Lou Buzzard on October 5, 1938.
She loved to read, work puzzles, and cook to keep her family fed. Her favorite show was Andy Griffith.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Clyde H. Adkins and second husband Delmas E. Barker.
She is survived by her son, Randall (Janie) Adkins of Costa, WV; daughter; Cindy Frank) Allen of Procious WV; stepson, Delmas Barker Jr (Nina) of Florida; sister, Betty White of Matewan, WV; seven grandchildren; and fourteen great grandchildren.
A family graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 28, 2020 at Graceland Memorial Park, South Charleston, WV with Frank Allen officiating.
Handley Funeral Home, Danville, WV is assisting the Barker family.
