Barbara Jean Price, 78, of Danville passed away June 27, 2014 at her home.
She was born September 23, 1935 and was a daughter of the late William and Edith Morris. She was a member of Madison Baptist Church and former employee of Hecks and Cox’s Deptartment Store.
She is survived by her husband Harry Price, they would have been married 56 years on October 9th; daughter, Melissa Norvell of Mechanicsville, MD; son, Richard Price of Harrisville, WV; sisters, Betty Spivak of Fla., Marge Butcher of Dunbar and Patricia McIntire of Hurricane; brothers, David Morris of Oak Hill and Thomas Morris of Winchester, VA; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Services will be 2 p.m. Monday, June 30, 2014 at Madison Baptist Church, Madison with the Rev. Jim Butcher officiating. Burial will follow in Price Cemetery, Danville.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that a contribution be made in memory of Barbara to: Madison Baptist Church, 426 Second Street, Madison, WV 25130.
Arrangements are by Handley Funeral Home, Danville.
