Barry Kent Mullins

Barry Kent Mullins, 47, of Hamlin, WV passed away July 31, 2016 at his home.
He was born in Charleston, the son of the late Jerry and Geraldine Mullins. Barry was a graduate of Hamlin High School and Eastern Kentucky University.
After leaving his job at the Lincoln County Courthouse, he helped to manage properties for his late father’s estate and Trust, LLC.
He is survived by his loving fiance’ Teri Halstead; son Barry Kent Mullins II; step-daughter, Christan Mullins; grandson, Jayden Kent Milam(whom he adored) all of Hamlin, WV; also surviving is one sister Robin Triplett(Terry) of Barboursville, WV.
Barry loved the beach and fireworks. He saw no need to wait for a special day to light up the sky. He rarely turned away a stray animal, feeding and caring for many over the years. His big personality will be sadly missed.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Wednesday August 3, 2016 at Handley Funeral Home, Hamlin, WV. The burial will follow in Ridgelawn Memorial Park, Huntington, WV. A visitation will be from 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm Wednesday .
