Bessie Loretta Dials passed away Friday, March 20, 2015 at home after a gallant fight with lung disease.
Bessie was a homemaker who loved taking care of her home, cooking, gardening and spending special time with her children, grandchildren and great- grandchildren. She was a member of Coal Valley Church in Clothier WV.
She was born on April 24, 1934 in Debord, Kentucky one of 12 children of the late Gilson and Minnie Goble Delong. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years James Dewey Dials; twin daughters Brenda Sue and Linda Lou; sisters Alice, Sarah and Wanda; and brothers Bud, Sam, Buck, and James Homer.
She is survived by her children, Sheryl (Max) Stollings, Susie (Claude) Crisp, James (Linda) Dials and Scott (Ginger) Dials; seven grandchildren and 12 great- grandchildren; brother, Paul Delong; sisters, Carol Setser, Jenny Daniels and Nita Richardson; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Services will be at 2 pm Monday, March 23, 2015 at Coal Valley Church, Clothier with Pastor Alfred Setser and Pastor Nathan Craddock officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens, Low Gap WV.
Friends may call at the church on Sunday March 22, 2015 any time after 4 pm.
