Bessie Jeanette Miller

Bessie Jeanette (Cabell) Miller went home to Jesus on February 26^th 2023 at age of 93 years.

Bessie was born to Falcy Pauley and Manderville Cabell on November 19^th 1929  in Wharton, West Virginia.

Bessie Jeanette Cabell met James Leondis Miller in Boone County West Virginia. They were married on October 12^th 1946. They went on to raise three children, Edward (Eddie) Alan Miller, Steven Howard Miller and Karen Lynn (Miller) McCain in Foster, West Virginia.

In addition to being a dedicated and loving mother, Bessie also loved reading her bible and singing. Throughout Bessie’s entire life she held an unwavering faith in God.  Bessie shared her faith with those she loved throughout her life. She truly followed in the footsteps of Jesus and lead a life devoted to God, family and friends.  She left a legacy of following Christ that many aspire to mimic.

Bessie joins her husband James Miller; son Eddie Miller, son in law John McCain, daughter in law Donna Miller in Heaven.

Bessie is survived by son Steve Miller and wife April, Karen McCain; and daughter in law Jane Miller (wife of Eddie.) Bessie also leaves behind several brothers and a sister and well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Each loved her dearly and will continue to carry her legacy of love in their hearts.

Service will be 2 pm Saturday, March 4, 2023 at Handley Funeral Home in Danville, WV with Louis Watts officiating. Burial will follow in Miller Cemetery, Foster, WV.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
