Betty Faye Bowens

Betty Faye Bowens 80 years old of Foster, WV went home to be with Jesus Wednesday, October 10, 2018.

Daughter of the late Charles and Emma Carter, and was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Bowens, son Brad Bowens, brothers, Dempsey, Dewey, Donad and Ernest Carter, sisters Edith and Louise.

She is survived by her son; Walter Ray (Sue) Bowens of Mt. Sterling, OH, daughters; Pamela Sue (Alan) Tatum of Charleston, WV Emma Kay (Frank) Sparks of Mt Sterling, Oh, Lindsay Renee (Christopher) Lester of Danville, WV, Melinda Bowens of Foster, Stephanie Bowens of Chapmanville and Edith Ann (Terry) Nagy of Foster, who was also her primary caretaker, two sisters; Lula Browning of Clayton,NC and Shirley Gillispie of Man, WV. She had 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 12, 2018 Handley Funeral Home, Danville, WV with Pastor Ronnie Luke officiating. Burial will follow in Danville Memorial Park, Danville, WV.

Friends may 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Chris, Christopher, Frank, Jeremy, Alex, and Terry Austin.
