Betty T. Chester

Betty T. Chester, 85, of West Hamlin, WV passed from this life to eternal life on Saturday July 2, 2022, at Paramount Senior Living, Ona, WV. Betty was born May 7, 1937 in Lincoln County to the late Wilburn H. Triplett and Ethel Lucas Triplett. She was preceded in death by her husband Quincy “Bill” Chester, a stepdaughter Quinn and Stepson Billy Chester, two brothers, James D. Triplett and Wilburn H. Triplett, two sisters, Wilmarene Midkiff and Amma Jean Hutchison and a nephew Gregory Triplett.
Survivors include a daughter Laura (Travers) Brake and granddaughter, Elizabeth of Elkins, WV; one brother, and sister-in-law Bob and Judy Triplett of Archer, Florida; a sister-in-law, Betty C. Triplett of Salt Rock, WV and several nieces and nephews.
Betty graduated from Guyan Valley High School in 1955 and was a member of Mt. Moriah United Baptist Church. She was a member of the Hamlin Chapter 106 of the Eastern Star. Betty was a retired secretary from Lincoln County School System.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday July 8, 2022 at the Sloan-Triplett Cemetery at Pleasant View, WV with Rev. Lenny Romans officiating.
