Betty Lou Adkins

Betty Lou Adkins, 88, of Hamlin, WV went to be with the Lord on Thursday February 23, 2023. 

She was born February 28, 1934 to the late Walter and Luary Adkins Jenkins. She was a devoted wife of the late James Fletcher Adkins. She was also preceded in death by a son-in-law Robert Adkins and great grandchild Trevor David Adkins.

She was a member of the Palermo United Methodist Church since October 12, 1966. She loved to go to church and sing.

She is survived by three daughters, Brenda Ross, Helen (Toby) Tabor and Phyllis Adkins; five grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Monday, February 27, 2023 at Handley Funeral Home in Hamlin, WV with Jeff Black and Bill Linville officiating.  The burial will follow in the Miller Cemetery, Sweetland.  A visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral.
