Beulah Walker Stanley Baisden, 87, passed away March 8th, 2017 peacefully at Trinity Healthcare Nursing Home in Logan, W.Va. She was preceded in death by her parents Estil and Mary Cox Walker; her first husband Jay Stanley, with whom they had their five children, and the late Seigle Baisden whom she shared a happy ten years with; one brother, Ora Walker, two siblings Ercel and Irene Walker; her two sons Keith and Ira Dale Stanley; and one daughter Jalana Stanley Leftwich.
Beulah is survived by two half brothers, Rondall and Donald Walker; daughters Judy Stanley, Renae Stanley Ball and husband Danny and adopted granddaughter Rashana Baisden Grimes and husband Joe. She had eight grandchildren, Alisha Ray, with two great grandchildren, Casey and Waylon, Michelle Akers with three great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Matthew and Thaddeus, Tina Akers, Carrie Lane with three great grandchildren, Braydon, Bryleigh, and Kihyia, Tyanne and husband Rick Gibson, one great grandchild Taylor, Misty Leftwich Marston, one great grandchild Preston, Robyn and husband Woodrow Young, three great grandchildren Rachel, David, and Ava, Grandson Seth Ball and great grandson Logan Grimes. She also leaves behind a host of family, friends, and neighbors who although are saddened by her passing, are aware that their lives are richer for having the privilege of knowing her.
She worked at Boone Memorial Hospital for 25 years. She was known as a strong, kind and caring woman who always put others first. Her passion and hobbies included working in her yard, gardening, planting flowers, cooking and relaxing on her front porch. She will be missed greatly but is now pain free and at rest in Heaven in the arms of angels and passed loved ones.
Services will be held at Handley Funeral Home in Danville, WV Monday, March 13th at 2 p.m. with visitation one hour prior. She will be taken to her final resting place at Memory Gardens, Low Gap, WV with a small graveside service.
