Billy Raymond Davis, 81, of Peytona, WV, passed away Thursday January 16, 2013 at his home.
Billy (Raymond) was born April 21, 1932. He was a U.S. Army Veteran that proudly served his country. He was a retired coal miner and member of the UMWA. He enjoyed time with his family and the time he spent living at the beach. He also enjoyed helping friends with carpentry projects or whatever else they needed.
Billy (Raymond) is survived by his sister Yvonne Halstead of Drawdy, Daughter Debbie (Terry) Harless of Madison, sons William (Luanne) Davis of Toledo, Ohio, Michael (Loree) Davis of Epworth, Georgia, seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, many loving nieces, nephews, friends and will be missed by all.
Visitation will be Sunday January 19, 2014, from 1:00 until 2:00 PM at Handley Funeral Home in Danville. Funeral services with Reverend Jim Butcher officiating following visitation at 2:00 PM.
Billy(Raymond) will be laid to rest at the Donel C. Kinnard Memorial State Veterans Cemetery at a later date.
