Billy Jo Hudson

Billy Jo Hudson, 69, of West Hamlin, WV departed this life for his Heavenly home after a long illness, on Friday April 10, 2025. Bill was born August 2, 1955 to the late Tal and Sybil Bias. He was the husband to the late Fileta Lynn “Penny” Hudson for 32 years.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. Bill was a member of Mt. Moriah United Baptist Church. He was a retired grocery store owner and proud supporter of the community.

Survivors include his wife, Theresa Hudson; two sons and two daughters-in-law, Jason (Candace) Hudson and Brett (Kristi) Hudson of West Hamlin; one grandson, Jacob Hudson; two granddaughters, Kallie and Emma Hudson; one step-daughter, Kendra (Mikey) Vance of Harts; three step-grandkids, Bentley, Ava and Aubree Vance.

Funeral services will be 11am Monday April 14, 2025 at McGhee-Handley Funeral Home, West Hamlin, WV with Steve Johnson officiating. The burial will follow in the Bias Cemetery, West Hamlin, WV.
