Billy Joe Turley, 81, of Nellis, WV was born July 22, 1932 and went home to be with the Lord on October 21, 2013.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Ruth Turley; and his parents, Aubrey and Grace Turley.
He was a retired coal miner from Armco Peabody Coal Company and was a member of UMWA Local 17. He attended Morning Star House of Prayer.
He is survived by his brother, Jack (Anne) Turley; son, Rickey (Drema) Turley; daughter, Pamela (Paul Eddie) Turley; granddaughter, Katelan (Anthony) Balla; and poppaws little man, Jacob Gillispie.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, October 24, 2013 at Kinder Cemetery, Costa, WV with Kenneth Dunlap officiating.
Arrangements by Handley Funeral Home, Danville, WV.
