Bobby Keith McDorman, 77, of Madison, WV was born April 26, 1935 and passed away on Monday, September 2, 2013 at the VA Hospital in Beckley.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray McDorman, Lona Scott McDorman Green and Johnny Green; daughter, Angela Clair McDorman Barker; brothers, Ray “Happy” McDorman and Howard Green; and nephew, David Green.
He is survived by daughter, Lona Jean Pearce (Rick) of Mesa, AZ; brothers, Emil (Joan) McDorman of Wharton and Roger (Joan) Green of Charleston; nieces, Robin McDorman Moore (Erman), Cindy Green Ortiz (Erick) and Dawn McDorman George (Martin); nephew, Scotty Green; and many great nieces and nephews.
He was a water sampler at Massey Coal. He was in the Marines for 12 years and was a volunteer for Toys for Tots.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, September 7, 2013 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville with Bill Meadows officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens, Madison with military graveside rites performed by Daniel Boone VFW Post 5578 Madison, WV.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
