Bobby Ray Sutphin, 58, of Madison, WV, passed away on Saturday, March 8, 2025.
He was born November 22, 1966 to the late Jefferson Callie Sutphin and Stella Easter Sutphin.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Jefferson (Tom) Sutphin.
Bobby loved spending time with his family. He had a love for fishing, the re-runs of the TV series MASH, and playing with his grandkids when they were around. Bobby was saved and a Christian.
Bobby is survived by his wife Lisa Sutphin of Madison, WV; daughter Callie Sutphin of Lawrenceburg, TN; step-daughters Ashley (James) Kazee of Danville and Cadi Wolff of Madison, WV; and step-son Cory Wolff of Lorain, OH. He was also a proud grandpa of five precious grandkids: Rosalie McDonald of Iva, SC, Anastasia Broadnax of Madison, WV, Camisha Bays of Alum Creek, WV, Nicholas Pitt of Madison, WV, and Isabella Ellis of Danville, WV. He is also survived by four sisters: Joan (Pee Wee) Goode of Julian, WV, Debbie Darnell of Jeffrey, WV, Cynthia (Tony) Fankhauser of Madison, WV, and Wanda Kay Swimm of Salem, OH. Bobby was also an uncle, great-uncle, and a great-great-uncle to a host of nieces and nephews.
Services for Bobby will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 22, 2025 at Spencer Methodist Church in Hewett, WV with John Workman officiating.
