Bonnie Gay Huffman

Bonnie Gay Huffman, 80, of Foster, WV went home to be with her Lord and Savior on January 14, 2019.

She was born September 12, 1938 in Eunice, WV to the late Earl “Jackpot” and Julia “Sis” Davis. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter, Bonnie Jean Huffman; brothers, Bobby Earl Davis and JoEddie Davis; and daughter-in-law, Sherry Ann Huffman.

She was a loving wife, mother, mamaw, Ninnie, sister, aunt, friend, and so much more.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years who she married on May 6, 1957, Charles T. Huffman; her children, Chuck (Drema) Huffman of Mud River, Brian (Patty) Huffman of Locust Grove, VA, Wanda (Joe) Lares of Gordon, Keith Huffman of Foster, and Michelle Hicks (Wilson Jefferson) of Foster; grandchildren, Shannon Huffman of Madison, Matthew (Brency) Huffman of Mud River, Nick Huffman (Amanda Wilburn) of Foster, Brian (Claudine) Thomas of Locust Grove, VA, Joey (Leanne) Lares of Danville, Chelsey and Derek Stowers of Madison, Keith Huffman II (Christina) of Foster, Kasey Huffman of Foster, Jesse (Erica) Huffman of GA, Dylan Hicks of Foster, and Will and Gabby Jefferson of Chester, MD; great-grandchildren, Adrian Font (Madyson), Brookyn and Bryce Huffman, Lincoln Lares, Ty Huffman, Paisley and Briar Stowers, Zeke McNeely and Ethan Wilburn; two great-great-grandchildren, Bella and Macy Font; her siblings, Richard (Marilyn) Davis of Foster, Linda (Donnie) Mantz of Madison, Martha Jane Henderson of VA, Patricia Lacy of Danville, and James William Davis of OH. She is also survived by her loyal Jack Russell fur baby, JJ; as well as Kelly Testa and Jimmy Hicks; and a slew of friends.

Service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, January 18 at Handley Funeral Home in Danville with the Rev. Phil Rowe officiating. Burial will follow in Huffman Cemetery, Foster.

Family and friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
