Brandon Scott Woodie

April 18, 1986 — June 2, 2016

Brandon Scott Woodie, age 30, of Drawdy, WV, went to his heavenly home Thursday June 2, 2016. Brandon was born April 18, 1986 to David and Teresa (Ratliff) Woodie.

Left to cherish Brandon's memory is the love of his life, his wife of almost 6 years, Holly (Randant) Woodie; his children, Ivy Brooke and Luke Brandon; parents, David and Teresa Woodie; brother, Brian Woodie; grandmothers, Joyce Ratliff and Jean Woodie; and a host of extended family.

Brandon was a loving husband, father, son, brother and friend. Brandon was dedicated to his wife and children. His unconditional love and friendship touched the lives of many. Brandon graduated from Van High School in 2004 and went on to graduate from WVU Tech with a bachelors in civil engineering. Brandon was an employee of Blackhawk mining and worked as an underground section foreman for the last 7 years. Brandon enjoyed hunting, fishing, weight lifting and spending time with his family. He was a born again Christian and was a member of Bible Baptist Church in Danville WV where he helped in the teen ministry.

Visitation will be held from 6-9 pm on Monday, June 6th 2016 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville.

His service will be held on Tuesday, June 7th 2016 at 2:00 pm also at Handley Funeral Home with the Rev. Johnny Barker, the Rev. Dan Gates and the Rev. Scotty Elswick officiating.

His burial service will immediately follow funeral at Danville Memorial Park, Danville.
