Brenda K. Sigmon Adams, 66, of Huntington passed away at St. Mary’s Medical Center on Saturday, March 5, 2016.
She was born December 2, 1949 in Madison, WV and preceded in death by her mother Virgie Turner Long; sister Peggy Adkins; and nephew George "Binky" Vannatter II
Brenda is survived by her loving husband C. A. Adams; children, Kenny Tully, Jr. of Ashland, KY, Russell (Misty) Tully, of Milton, Charles (Cora) Adams of Long Beach,CA, Natalie(Bruce) Huff, of Glenwood, Doug (Shelly) Adams and Chris (Annette) Adams, of Huntington and Amy (Damon) Burgess of Wilmington, NC; sisters, Arzell Combs and Janet Angel; two brothers, Lonnie Vannatter and Dean Vannatter; last but not least her grandchildren “Scooter” Peter McKinley Tully, Austin Carroll McClure, Steven and Chris Adams, Cody and Kaitlyn, Peyton Adams, Jessica Adams, Raylan Adams, Carter Adams, Stephen Albert Adams, Christopher Patrick Adams, Cameron Burgess and Savannah Burgess; great grandson, Deniko Chase Adams; nieces, Brandy Vannatter, Christy Vannatter, Christen Cooperider, Dorothy Long and Tina Long; and nephews, Scotty Adkins, Stacey Adkins, Lonnie "L.J." Vannatter II and Jerret Vannatter.
Brenda loved her family and the Lord with her whole heart, and she will be in the house of the Lord rejoicing.
There will be a memorial service at 7 p.m. Friday at the Bethel Temple Assembly of God, 900 9th Street Huntington, WV. Visitation will begin at 6 p.m.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, March 12 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville with Pastor Doug Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Vannatter Cemetery, Julian.
