Carl Louis McCallister 73 of Ridgeview went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 17, 2013.
He was a retired truck driver with WV Department of Highways and a member of Olcott Church of God. He was preceded in death by his first wife Shirley Massey McCallister.
He is survived by his wife Mildred Sue McCallister; daughters Jacqui McCallister of Ridgeview; Charlotte & Terry Perdue of Nellis; son Bobby & Jennifer McCallister of Winston Salem, NC; step daughters Nancy Chandler and Lisa Belcher both of White Oak; brother Glen & Faye McCallister of Ridgeview; sisters Pauline & Garney Kinder of White Oak, Carol Guidicelli of Shefield Lake, OH, Christine Merritt of Williamson; 5 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 2:00pm Saturday, October 19, 2013 at Handley Funeral Home Danville with Michael Gibson and Jimmy Webb officiating. Burial will follow in Pineview Cemetery Orgas. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
