Carol Ann Bishop, 69, of Uneeda, WV went home to be with the Lord on July 29, 2016 after a short illness.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Quinten and Gertrude Nelson; two brothers, Donald and Quinten Nelson Jr.; and one sister, Patricia Sizemore.
She was a proud member of Ball Chapel Community Church at Jeffrey, WV.
She is survived by eight brothers and sisters; her husband, Denzil; her daughter, Denise (Rick) Carr; her son, Rusty (Renee) Bishop; and two grandsons that were the light of her life, John Russell Carr and Jacob Levi Bishop. She will be sadly missed by family and friends.
Service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 2 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville with Edsel Aleshire and Jack Kinder officiating.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to made in Carol's honor at the funeral home.
