Carolyn Mae Green

Carolyn Mae Green, 17, of Turtle Creek was taken home suddenly to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 23, 2014. With her infections smile and laughter, she entered into the gates of heaven with what is assured to be a great reunion with family and friends who have gone on before.

Her love of God, family and basketball will be remembered for years to come. Carolyn’s favorite passage of the Bible was Psalms 139.

She was preceded in death by grandmother and grandfather, Ovie and Glada Barker, grandfathers, Richard Green and Hassel Harless, aunt Doris Swedberg, and uncle Jim Harless.
She leaves behind her father and mother, Danny and Regina Green of Turtle Creek, brother and sister in law; Aaron and Laura Green of Cross Lanes, WV and a host of other loving family and friends.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, April 26, 2014 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville, WV with Pastor John Barker and Pastor Greg Smith. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Madison.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
