Carolyn Julia Jones Young

Carolyn Julia Jones Young age 76 from Madison, WV went to her heavenly home on December 19, 2018.

She was a 1961 Scott High School graduate.

She was married to her one and only love Toney A. Young for 56 years. Together they have two children Tony and Kathy. She had three siblings Helen, Johnny and Marion.
Carolyn was a very devoted Christian with amazing faith in God. She was a very dedicated and active member of the West Madison Baptist Church for many years. Her church family was her saving grace.

Her zest for life showed through her volunteer work at Boone Memorial Hospital as a pink lady as well as her love for playing tennis, bowling and line dancing. She had a host of friends she shared these activities with whom brought so much joy to her life.

There aren’t enough words to describe Carolyn’s unwavering love for her husband, children, and most treasured six grandchildren and three extended grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 3 p.m. Sunday, December 23, 2018 West Madison Baptist Church with Pastor John Browning officiating. Burial will follow in Boone Memorial Park, Madison, WV.

Friends may call from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the church.
