Carson Wayne Akers

Carson Wayne Akers 65 of Lake WV entered this life on April 1, 1951 and left the earthly life on August 27, 2016.

Carson was the son of the late Marvin Akers and Carlie Dent Akers. He was also preceded in death by brothers, Zane, Ronnie, Bobby and Craig Akers; and a sister Adele Akers.

Carson is survived by Sheila Adams Akers, the love of his life whom he referred to as Sheb; children, Carrie (Dick) Adams Roache, Larry Adams, April Akers Murphy, Carson Lee Akers and Marty Akers; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Joshua and Caleb Adams, Alexis and Trae Murphy, Tyler Akers, Landon Akers, Kayden and Ethan Ball; great granddaughters, whom he adored, Zaeha Adams and Kinslee Murphy McEachin; his brother, Dwain (Lawana) Akers.

Funeral service will be 2 pm Sunday, Sept 4, 2016 Handley Funeral Home, Danville with Rev. Audie Murphy officiating. Burial will follow in Baldwin Cemetery, Isom. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
