Charles Edward Lovejoy

Charles Edward Lovejoy, 72, of Hamlin, WV went to be with the Lord on Tuesday September 14, 2021. He was born January 26, 1949 in Logan County, WV, a son of Rosie Willis Lovejoy and the late Thomas Lovejoy. He was also preceded in death by his father and mother-in-law, Andrew and Emma Johnson; four brothers and one sister.
Additional survivors include his wife Nellie Johnson Lovejoy; children, Teresa Huffman (Gene), Charles Eugene Lovejoy, Donald Lovejoy (Lena) and Adam Lovejoy; two granddaughters, Michelle Lovejoy (Michael Delaney), and Autumn Lovejoy (Eli); two sisters, Victoria Horn (Bill) and Joyce Kennedy; brothers, Terry Lovejoy (Judy), Virgil Lovejoy (Elaine), Bruce Lovejoy (Sherri) and a host of Nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Saturday, September 18, 2021 at McGhee-Handley Funeral Home, West Hamlin with Pastor Donald Lovejoy and Paul Stevens officiating. The burial will follow in the Lovejoy-Spears Cemetery, Ranger, WV. A visitation will be from 6pm to 8pm Friday at the funeral home.
