Chester Sylbert White, 65, was born November 17, 1954 of Bob White, WV and went home to be with the Lord on December 3, 2019.
He was a retired coal miner of many years. He enjoyed gardening, camping, fishing and spending time with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Jane White; his parents, Elsie (Brown) White and Robert H. White; his brothers, Charlie White, Auger White, Gary White, and Robert White; his sisters, Carolyn (Margie) White, Dian (Ookie), Mary Halstead, Ina Grace Hunter, Betty Boggs and Sue Looney.
He is survived by his daughters, Jenny (Neil) Boggess of Van, WV, Brittany (Justin) White of Van, WV; sons, Chester White Jr. of Van, WV, Terry (Julie) Smith of Kannapolis, NC, Kenny (Nancy) White of Foster, WV; brother-in-law, James (Jimmy) Smith of Van, WV; sisters, Lorrine Hicks and Ethel Coleman; grandkids, Jarrod (Shana) Smith of Kannapolis, NC, Alexis Smith of Kannapolis, NC, Erica Green of Ravenswood, WV, Bryson White of Van, WV, Kirsten Boggess of Van, WV, Kaylee Boggess of Van, WV, Isaiah White of Foster, WV; great-grandchild, Levi Smith of Kannapolis, NC. We will love and miss you always “Gump”.
Graveside service will be 1:00 pm Monday, December 9, 2019 Mid Ferrell Cemetery, Bandytown, WV.
