Clayton Sherman Dolin, 72, of Foster, WV went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 17, 2019 at Boone Memorial Hospital.
He was a retired coal miner with 22 years. He also worked for Shawnee Hills and ResCare and was a former member of the Civil Air Patrol for years.
He enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents Clarence Sherman and Bobbie Lorraine Dolin; and brother-in-law Barry Epling.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Betty Dolin; daughter, Christina (Jerry) Green and grandson, Joshua; sisters, Renda Epling, Carol (Bill) Park, Emily (Lonnie Dolin), and Cathy (Kevin) Dalton; brother, David (Sheila) Dolin; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Brenda and Jack McCloud; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
Service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 20 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville with Nate Dolin officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens, Madison.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
