Danny J." Joey" Blake

Danny Joe "Joey" Blake, Jr. 34 of Huntington, WV passed away April 1, 2018.
Joey was raised in the Church of God by his aunt and uncle Rick and Kim Blake of Huntington, WV. He attended school in South Charleston and made his living as an auto mechanic.
He is survived by his children; Preston and Evan, his aunt and uncle Rick and Kim Blake, his sisters; Lynda Carol Blake-Snavely of Floyd County, VA, Brooke Smith (P.J. Blake) of Berkeley County, WV and Cristinia Blake Quesenberry of Floyd County, VA, and a brother; Aaron Wesley Shawyer of Fairfax County, VA.
Joey was a good soul who loved the Lord. He was kind and happy and always ready for a good laugh. He will be so missed, we loved him very much.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, April 7, 2018 Handley Funeral Home, Danville, WV with Paul Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Family Gardens, Madison.
