Danny Edward Crawford

Danny E. Crawford, 56, of Ranger WV, went home to be with the Lord on January 14, 2025 after a short battle with cancer. Danny was born January 12, 1969, the oldest son of Daniel and Gladys Crawford of Ranger WV. He is proceeded in death by his father Daniel. He is survived by his mother Gladys, brother Michael and nephew Hayden Gore, Sister Melissa(Patrick) Frye and niece MaKayla (Kaleb) Aldridge and nephew Cody (Jasmyn) Frye. Brother in law Frankie (Meghan) Frye. Also surviving is a host of uncles and aunts and cousins and friends who are left to cherish his memory.

Danny’s second mom, his aunt Kathy, had a very special relationship. They grew up together. Laughed and carried on together. We are forever thankful for the love, help and care she gave not only his entire life but in the last month he was sick. We could not have made it through this without her.

To know Danny was to love him. He was everyone’s boy. He enjoyed daily trips to the store with his uncle Lloyd for a Coke Zero and a snack cake. Weekly trips to Wendy’s and Dairy Delight for a milk shake with his aunt Kathy. He will forever be missed by all who knew him.

 Funeral services will be 12 noon Friday, January 17, 2025 at McGhee-Handley Funeral Home, West Hamlin, WV. The burial will follow in the Willy Wiley Cemetery, Ranger, WV. A visitation will be 6pm to 8pm Thursday January 16, 2025 at the funeral home. Condolences can be sent to www.handleyfh.com.
