Danny B. Kirk of Ashford, WV passed away on November 2nd, 2017 after an extended illness. He was 68 years old.
Danny is survived by his wife of 47 years, Lois Kirk; his son Darren Kirk, of Ashford, WV; and other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Virgil and Doris Kirk; and his son Derick Kirk.
Danny was a second generation educator with a Masters degree in education. He worked for the Boone County School System for 32 years, 29 of which as an elementary school principal. He was also a musician, an accomplished hunter and loved the outdoors.
Visitation is scheduled for Sunday, November 5th between 6 to 8 p.m. and funeral proceedings will be on Monday, November 6th at 11 a.m., both at Ashford Church of God Holiness.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Derick Kirk Foundation www.derickkirk.org are encouraged.
