Dave “Major” Hawks was born to Billy Hawks and Bessie Senter March 5, l966 and entered eternal rest January 28, 2019.
David was preceded in death by his father Billy Hawks, and sisters Marlene Hawks and Nyoka Hawks White.
He is survived by his daughter Davie Jordan Hawks of Supply, NC, mother Bessie Hawks Hackney of Barrett, WV, three brothers, Bill, Jr of Barrett, Curtis (Brenda) Hawks of Sophia, WV and Chester Hawks of Claremont, NC, one sister Rhonda Hawks of Danville.
Family and friends will gather 12 noon, Saturday, Feb, 2, 2019 at the Barrett Church of the Nazarene to celebrate the life of Dave.
Service will be at 2 p.m. with childhood friend Evangelist Scotty Elswick officiating.
