David Owen Davis

June 25, 1954 — May 7, 2016

David Owen Davis, 61, of Van, peacefully passed away at home on May 7, 2016. David was born on July 25, 1954 to the late Guy Wade Davis, Sr. and Betty Jo (Ferrell) Davis of Van and was preceded in death by his son Owen Lee Davis. He is survived by one brother, G.W. Davis, Jr. (Beverly) of Van; one sister, Diana J. Davis of Charles Town; three children, David Davis, Darren Davis and Natasha Davis, and two grandchildren. Family and friends will be gathering for a memorial service 1 p.m. Saturday May 14, at the Van Methodist Church in Y & O camp, to share stories and favorite memories of David. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made in David’s honor .
