David Allen Frazier, 69, of West Madison passed away peacefully in the arms of Jesus Christ on September 20, 2024 at CAMC Memorial Hospital with his family by his side.
David was born on December 20, 1954. He is a 1973 graduate of Scott High School and a true Mountaineer Fan. He was retired from Bethlehem Mines and Donald R. Kuhn Center. He was a lieutenant and retired captain in the Danville Volunteer Fire Department.
David was preceded in death by his parents Harvey Frazier Jr. and Theresa “Tus” (Kuhn); and brothers-in-law Daryl O’Dell and Paul Ball.
David left behind a devoted wife, Karen (Rader) and twin daughters, Dr. Sarah and Dr. Samantha Frazier, and fur baby “Tabby.” He is also survived by his sister, Deborah O’Dell of Washington Heights; sisters and brother-in-law Judy Estep (John) of Madison, and Terri Ball of Van; aunts Sharon (Kuhn) Evans (Joe) of Kingsport, TN and Odessia Hurt of Hudson, OH; as well as many loved nieces, nephews, and cousins.
David’s family would like to take the opportunity to thank everyone who reached out and prayed for us. Special thanks to the doctors and nurses on CPICU at CAMC Memorial Hospital.
Services will be held Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville WV at 2:00pm with John Duty officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens, Low Gap, WV.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
