David Allen Hill, 63, of Foster died April 7, 2014 at CAMC General Hospital, Charleston, WV.
He was born July 26, 1950 in Madison, WV and was a son of the late James Edward and Eva Belle Hill.
He was retired from Smith Transport.
He is survived by son, James Hill of Foster; step-daughter, Lisa Clark Wolff; of Low Gap; step-son, David Vance of Greenview; brothers, Norman Hill of Braxton County; companion, Diane Putnam of Danville; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be 11 a.m. Fri., April 11 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville with David May officiating. Burial will follow in Harless Cemetery at Price Branch of Danville.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
