David Eugene Pullen, 63, of Alkol, WV formerly of Conneaut, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on September 15, 2015. Born on April 20, 1952 he was the son of the late Lester and Pearl Pullen. He was also preceded in death by Dan Pullen, Bud Pullen, Mary Austin and Dorothy Wooly.
He was a member and trustee of New Bethel Baptist Church.
He is survived by wife, Mary Roberts Pullen of Alkol; two sons, Scottie James Pullen of Alkol and SSG David Eugene and (Sara) Pullen of South Korea; one daughter, April May Nagy of Hamlin; three brothers, Earl Pullen, Tommy and (Debbie) Pullen of Ohio and Paul Pullen of Houston, Texas; one sister, Kate Allen of Ohio; four granddaughters, Marissa and Mckenzie Pullen, Jasmine Nagy and Elizabeth Pullen; two grandsons, Matthew Pullen and Eric Nagy.
Service will be 2 p.m. Monday, September 21, 2015 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville with David Vickers, KD Bragg and Lonnie Lovejoy officiating. Final resting place is at James and Lily Roberts Cemetery, Bulger Road, Alkol. Pall Bearers will be Scotty and David Eugene Pullen, Kenneth and O’Dell Roberts, Joseph Sigmon and Eric Hunter.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
