David Martin Thorn II, 39, of Danville West Virginia passed away at CAMC Memorial Hospital on February 18, 2017. He was surrounded by loved ones and a dear friend.
David was born on December 18, 1977 in Clarksburg, West Virginia. He was a graduate of Scott High School in Madison, West Virginia. David resided with his mother at Low Gap in Danville, West Virginia.
He is survived by his parents, Rose Ann Fox of Danville, West Virginia and David Martin Thorn I and step-mother, Krystal Thorn of College Station, Texas. He is also survived by his sisters, Anicha Ferrell of Foster, WV, Megan Mitchell of Julian, WV, Amanda Light of Hewett, WV, Whitney Berry of Madison, WV and Amy Zapalac of College Station, Texas; his brother-in-laws, Chester Mitchell of Julian, WV and Scott Light of Hewett, WV; his nieces and nephews, Chester Mitchell II, Gracie Ferrell, Austin Light, Kaylee Mitchell and Taylor and Todd Zapalac; one great nephew, David Zapalac; as well as many beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins.
David loved working with his niece Kaylee. He loved working with motorcycles, gardening, and landscaping. David was such a kind hearted and caring young man. He was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 22 at Blair Church of God in Danville, WV with the Rev. Joe Lane officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens, Madison, WV.
Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service.
