Debra Ann Crawford (Lynch) passed away Saturday March 13, 2021.
She was preceded in death by her son Jeffrey; parents Jim and Lucy Lynch; brother Larry Lynch; and brother in law Larry Brown.
Debbie is survived by her childhood sweetheart and husband of 47 years Bobby; son Michael of Lynchburg, VA; daughter Amanda (Joshua Turner) of Madison; granddaughters Gabbie Teague, Madelyn Crawford, and Molly Turner; sister Betty Brown of Barrett; nephew Cody Brown; niece Hannah (Nick) Bartic; and brothers Bill Lynch (Sherry) and Bob Lynch (Stephanie) and their children.
Debbie graduated valedictorian of Van High School in 1973, followed by a Bachelors of Arts in Education from WV State. Mrs. Crawford devoted 34 years to teaching the young students of Boone County. Even after retiring, she continued her career as a substitute and has spent the last several months homeschooling and nurturing some very special students.
Debbie most enjoyed spending time with her family at home providing meals, comfort and love. She had a passion and a knack for crafting. Her beautiful creations can be found adorning the homes throughout the community and beyond.
Friends may call on the family for a walk through visitation on Thursday, March 18 from 6-8 pm at Handley Funeral Home in Danville. A private graveside service will be held on Friday.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Barrett Nazarene Church, 827 Glen Drive Wharton WV 25208.
