Delles F. White, 75, of Bias’ Branch passed away Sunday, March 20, 2016 of an extended illness. He was born March 30, 1940 at Pineville, WV to the late James and Esther White. Also preceding him in death was his companion Patricia Hogan; the mother of his children, Joann McNeely White; brothers, Dallas White and James Cook; and sisters, Delcie Osborne, Joyce Legg and Ruby Adkins.
He is survived by sons, Willard White of Huntington, Jody White of Bias’ Branch and Delles White Jr. of Ohio; daughter, Julonda White of Bias’ Branch; sisters, Shirley Crone of Ottawa, Sharon Canterbury of Low Gap, Brenda Smith of Greenview, Patricia Smith of Uneeda, Phyllis Dillion of Williams Mountain and Mamie Ball of Gordon; ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Service will be 2 p.m. Friday, March 25 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville with Pastor Patricia Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Williams Mountain Cemetery, Williams Mountain.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
