Delta Leamon Wood, 91, of Danville, WV passed away Monday, August 22, 2022 at her home.
She was born October 17, 1930 at Turtle Creek, WV and was a daughter of the late James Ely Prichard and Orpha June Martin Prichard. She was also preceded in death by her husband Willard Wood.
She was a member of the Freedom Baptist Church in Madison, WV.
Delta is survived by her sons, Jerry (Linda) Barker of Athens, OH and Lonnie (Pamela) Wood of Morrisvale, WV; daughters, Kathy (Cliff) Taylor of Sidney, OH and Marylin (AJ) Hatfield of Madison, WV; grandchildren, Jason Taylor, Brian Taylor, Diane Jennings, Christopher Barker, Jerrilyn Williams, Aaron Hatfield, Andrew Hatfield, BJ Hatfield, and James White; Zayne Taylor, Zayden Taylor, Zoey Taylor, Jaron Williams, Adison Williams, Kayleigh Berryman, Hunter Berryman, Eloise Hatfield, and Poppy Hatfield; and one great-great-grandchild, Maelyn Wahmhoff.

Service will be 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 27 at Handley Funeral Home in Danville, WV with Rev. Tom Bias officiating. Burial will follow in Boone Memorial Park in Madison, WV.
Visitation will be form 1 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
