Dencil Triplett

DENCIL TRIPLETT, 86, of Pleasant View, W.Va., formerly of Lundale, W.Va., went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday February 22, 2017, at Chateau Grove Assisted Living, Barboursville, W.Va.
He was born in Branchland, WV, son of the late Troy and Vernie Messinger Triplett. He retired from the Amherstdale/Arch Coal Company after 35 years of service. He was a member of the Pleasant View Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Fern Harvey Triplett; brother Chelcie Triplett; sisters Madeline Pennington, Norma Minor, and Redith Turley; son-in-law Butch Brunty; granddaughter Natalie Walters; and great-granddaughter Leanna Joy Triplett.
He is survived by his brother, Hansford Triplett; two sons, Ricky (Patty) Triplett, and Dwight (Brenda) Triplett; two daughters, Vickie Brunty and Christina (Brad) Bowen; five grandchildren, Jonathan (Heather) Triplett, Josh (Sarah) Brunty, Michael (Emily) Triplett, Amber (Eli) Boland and Chad Bowen; six great-grandchildren, Jeremiah and Alexis Triplett, Emma Brunty, Brody Walters, Cole Black and Novella Bolen.
The family would like to thank Debbie J. and Staff at Chateau Grove for all their loving comfort and care.
Funeral services will be 11:00am Saturday February 25, 2017 at McGhee-Handley Funeral Home. The burial will follow in the Triplett Cemetery, Pleasant View, WV.
A visitation will be from 6pm to 8pm Friday at the funeral home.
